Lethbridge is a thriving city rich in beauty, culture and tradition.
The city has some of the best recreational facilities and parks in all of Canada.
There are over 1700 hectares of parks, and 60 kilometers of trails.
There are also five indoor pools, six ice arenas, a curling club, an indoor soccer facility, a climbing centre, and many sports fields and ball diamonds within the city limits.
Lethbridge is one of the sunniest and warmest cities in Canada although it does experience a phenomenon called the Chinook, a warm west wind providing above freezing breaks throughout the winter season.
Take a tranquil walk through the
Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden or visit the
Sir Alexander Galt Museum and Archives to learn more about the city's culture. There are several landmarks in particular that are an important part of Lethbridge's history, including the high level bridge, the old water tower, and the Chinese monument.
